Anushka, who was once the busiest actress in Telugu film industry, is giving more importance to Tamil cinema these days. Anushka is currently starring Nagarjuna’s Dhamarukam and Prabhas’s Varadhi movies. She was last seen in Ragada, which was released in December 2010.
Anushka didn’t feature in single straight Telugu film in 2011. Except for Tamil dubbed film Nanna, her Telugu fans didn’t get a chance to see her on silver screen. On the other hand she is happily signing up many Tamil films. She has more than half a dozen Tamil films on her hands at the moment.
According to an online survey in Tamilnadu, Anushka is the top heroine in Kollywood now. After Tamanna’s exit from Tamil cinema, Anushka proved to be the clear winner over other hot heroines in Tamil film industry.
